As you can see, i chose my Model United Nations position paper under this category as well. I know you are asking why i chose this one (calm down) and my reason for this is because: 1. This position paper is what i used for the MUN Global Conference (i think) about a month ago, and as you can see in the photo, i represented Senegal. The position paper argued Migration to Latin America, and why it should be prevented, or proposed. My second reason 2: In this Global Conference, although the majority agreed to prevent Migration, Senegal (me) including 2 other countries argued to allow migration. I chose this one because i got to stand up for a country and help facilitate for resolutions to the problem.
Recognize Perspectives
For this year, i chose my scholarship essay over World War II and the misconception of how people consider survivors as "heroes." I chose this paper because as i read and mused about heroism, i realized that it does not require your survival or presence to indicate your status. The only person who is able to do that is yourself, everyone else doesn't matter. They may worship you, they may even despise you, but what truly tells whether or not you are a hero is the experience behind your stance. The humiliation and story behind your still existence.
